Pfefferkuchenhaus In Outer Space

Rising out of repetition and the use of several small melodic fragments, "Impetus" takes shape in the conversation between two forces that frequently shift from working in cooperation to opposition. The statements made by both voices are constantly acting as the impulses for one another, pushing forward when the other fades out, thus to keep the piece driving forward in an unrelenting nature.

I aspired to set music to ones "secret/own place" mentally. 
I originally wrote my first draft of this piece in 2013, so you might recognize some elements from my other scores on this channel!
It started with me listening to Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, Op. 73 and got the idea from a very very short part which I became obsessed with. If you were to listen to it, I imagine you'll hear exactly what part that inspired this score!
