Slam have started a sub division of their Soma Records label called Soma Track Series which sees the duo going back to their Chicago-inspired roots and to kick things off their Techno bomb 'Make You Move' is quickly making waves with clubbers and DJs alike! 

The buzz gathered steam when it was picked up early by Ben Klock who dropped it at Fabric London and then posted a video clip of the Room 2 reaction. It has since been road tested by an elite force of the world's leading Techno DJs including Len Faki, Blawan, Adam Beyer, Dave Clarke and Carl Cox and has since crossed over into the box of fellow Glaswegian Jackmaster.

Since the first EP (parts 1 & 2) released way back in 2003 featuring 'The main voyage' and 'Tour de Trance' followed shortly after by parts 3 & 4, it was always John's intention for this to be a 5 series EP, but never got around to finishing. It's a scratch he needed to itch and 14 years later, he's made it happen.

Never one to be pigeon holed in just one genre, you find here a wide selection of music, 'Spirit awakening' being testament to the much loved deeper side of John, whilst 'This restless planet' takes things on a euphoric Trancy journey. To hammer on the icing of the cake, we take a hard hitting ride with 'The long ranger' 134 BPM of Tech Trance with tons of emotion.

Rather than labour on predictably about the symbolic significance of a collaboration between these two Artists - both intrinsically important to the evolution and resurgence of modern trance, let's just discuss the music. Hemispheres digs deep - subwoofer-rattling deep. The arrangement ploughs the furrows of hypnotic, immersive club music; filters radiate, expand & contract; shards of rhythm shatter and re-assemble. Most importantly, the melody possesses a claw-like hook which buries itself under the skin throughout this 11 minute odyssey.

John 00 Fleming is an electronic DJ and producer who has achieved international success in a career spanning over three decades, all without ever compromising his musical essence or the trust of his fans. Known for his deep knowledge of music, he is a proven pioneer and a leader recognised for his hypnotic style and unwavering integrity. John’s career began at the age of 15, playing a role in the exploding UK rave scene, which led to multiple residencies in the country’s formative club circuit and eventually to performances on some of the world’s most respected stages, including BOOM Festival, EDC, Tomorrowland, Ozora Festival, Creamfields, Own Spirit Festival, and countless underground institutions across the globe. With multiple Gold disc mix compilation accolades and millions of streams to his name, he has also delivered acclaimed Essential Mixes for BBC Radio 1 and earned the rare distinction of bridging the commercial and underground worlds without compromise.

As a producer, John’s esteem within the industry has drawn respect from electronic luminaries such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Muse.
