I wrote "The Walk" back in 1996, tried many times with many bands to record it but when in 2007 I had my own little home studio I finally got the version I heard in my head for all those years.  Live it was a crowd favorite, people would ask me to play it again and again. Its a very simple song but its always held a place in my heart, a little Gem out of nowhere.  usually I write more involved material, but "the Walk" is a soft song that anyone with a heart can relate to. The Walk

I wrote this song in 2004, recorded it on a 4 track digital recorder and played lead guitar using a quarter.  In 2024 I'm rerecording it to get the real sound it deserves and I can sing it much better now.
But there is a charm with this original version.

Cyberspy has always been a side music project, I am annoucing here I'm that the "Crashmagnet" name I use to write music under is being retired, I'm here forever more going to use my real name John Corrao (which all my music is Copyrighted under) from now on.  The name "Crashmagnet" was originally going to be a band name.  I'm John Corrao the Singer Dongwriter, hello world.  I'm a Singer Song writer from Woodbury CT.  I was first a Drummer for 7 years and played gigs all over Connecticut hard Rock classics.  In 1990 I started writing poetry every single day for 2 years straight, then I pick up the Ascoutic Guitar and started trying to write my own songs.  From the very beginning I didn't sing covers, just wrote my own music from the very Start.  In 1996 I wrote 16 songs and formed a band called Lucky 13" performing all over Connecticut, awesome experience.  One of the those songs is called "The Walk" I re-recorded it in 2008 and that is the version here on SoundCloud.  In my songwriting Career I have written 100's of songs, some OK some good, I'm going to re-recorded old ones and post them here, also write new material, posting it here.
