Born and raised in North Carolina, Rolfe began banging on the piano at the age of five. Growing up, he continued to expand his musical arsenal playing fiddle and banjo at Fiddler's Grove, studying piano with Tom Constanten of the Grateful Dead, and playing saxophone in the high school band. 

In 2015, Rolfe was voted "Best Male Vocalist" by Creative Loafing Magazine. His debut EP was released the same year. Rolfe continues to write, produce, and record music in New York City. Currently he is preparing several new releases with his longtime collaborator John Horne (Electric Lady Studios, Berklee).
