Barrio Azteka nace a mediados del 2012 en San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León. Conformado por Diablo, Brownie y ese Montes se han dedicado a hacer música de "la raza, para la raza", con la intención de exponer las vivencias y el punto de vista de la gente del barrio, y levantar la cultura del rap en México.

Barrio Azteka es parte de la gran familia MDK (Mafia de las Kalles) y circulo asesino que incluye artistas de todo México y parte de Estados Unidos.

Actualmente estan terminando la elaboración de su primer material llamado: Directo Pa' Las Calles, con sencillos como Smoking MaryJane, Crecimos En El Ghetto, Sonando Estoy, entre otros, y colaboraciones de Low Barrio 1613, Milizia Mexicana, por mencionar algunos.
