Each song on Modern Classic is written by me. The session took place in Rhode Island at Lakewest Studio which is owned and engineered by Duke Robillard's Manager Jack Gautier. Duke produced and played on the recording. Duke's band was the backing band which consists of Bruce Bears on keyboards, Brad Hallen on bass and Mark Teixeira drums. Also featured on baritone sax on Crazy, Doug James "Mr Low" from the Jimmie Vaughan band. And on Crazy and several other tracks, from the Roomful of Blues horn section, Doug Woolverton trumpet and Mark Earley sax.
