Launka Zimeir (pronounced Lonka Zy-meer) is a singer/song-writer from the US.
While he is able to adapt to many different styles of music, he describes his sound as world music. Being compared to the likes of Gil Scott Heron, Fela Kuti and James Blake, to name a few, Launka's soulful sound is one that is definitely original, making him stand out among the many. He has performed a number of his original compositions in various venues and is currently working on his 1st EP, which he hopes to release later this year.
