Picture a sunburned, dusty town somewhere in the heart of the '80s, a place where nothing much happens but where stories are whispered of legendary races and haunted roads. In this forgotten corner, three misfits join forces for an adventure that’ll push them beyond anything they’ve known. 
First, there’s the fire-eyed woman, "Cassie", fierce and daring, unafraid of speed or danger. She’s got a sixth sense for trouble and a talent for finding it. 
Then there’s the driver: "Ryder", a seasoned racer with a knack for tight turns and near-misses, known across state lines for his raw skill and nerves of steel. 
And last, there’s the shadowy figure they call "Wolf": a half-man, half-beast creature whose legend precedes him. Once a racer in the underground circuits, he’s infamous for his breakneck speed and uncanny ability to outmaneuver anyone who dares to chase him. But there’s something more to Wolf, something that no one fully understands. Some say he made a pact with ancient spirits, trading his soul for superhuman speed and a killer instinct that guides him on the road like a whisper in his ear. 
Now, he bears the mark of his choice, living between two worlds: man and beast, with wild strength and a dangerous, untamed side he struggles to keep in check. This unlikely trio sets out on a dangerous quest to find Thunder Road, a near-mythical highway buried deep in the desert, where the most dangerous underground races are held. For them, this isn’t just another thrill ride. Thunder Road promises something bigger: a test of their limits, a way to conquer their fears and face down their own inner demons. 
It’s more than just a journey; it’s a proving ground. With the desert sun beating down, they tear through desolate stretches of highway, facing off against rivals, dodging death at every corner, and unearthing secrets that are better left buried. 
Each track on this EP follows the twists and turns of their journey, weaving a tale of speed, darkness, and resilience as they battle.

This is goodbye, for now.

After having gone several years without having been able to work on new music, I will hereby officially put the project "NORTH EXIT" indefinitely on hiatus.

But because I'm massively grateful for all of you who have listened to, enjoyed, bought, downloaded, shared or otherwise interacted with my music over the years, I didn't want to put this to be bed without first giving something back.

This album consists exclusively of previously unreleased tracks that I made over the years but that never saw the light of day for one reason or another. It's a mixed bag in terms of style, sound and, I won't lie, even quality. But I hope that those of you who have enjoyed my previous releases will still find something on here to enjoy as well!

Tracks 01 - 18 are synthwave, comparable to "Synthetic Emotions" and "Nightrunner" whereas tracks 18 - 25 are, what I would call, dark synth in the vain of "RABID TECHNOLOGY". A bit like A and B sides on an LP.

So again, thank you, everyone, for all the engagement, the love and the nice messages I received from you all over the years! I can't put in words what it means to me that so many of you enjoy...  more

Growing up in a city known for its maritime heritage and scenic beauty, John found himself deeply influenced by the contrasting elements of the serene beaches and the bustling port activities.
