Wolfgang Lohr is a Berlin based producer, composer, remixer, artist, and DJ whose career spans way back and encompasses a vast variety of different musical projects. Born in Bad Segeberg and raised in Lübeck (GER) by the Baltic Sea, where he served as a trumpeter, singer, and songwriter for the ska band “DaSKArtell” (@das-kartell).

He finally moved to Berlin in 2007 and dove right into its colorful and flourishing electro scene. Till this day he’s involved in several groups and productions, such as the Disco-House duo “DINKS” (@dinksmusik) and the Tech House outfit “Dorade” (@dorademusik), making him a mainstay of the scene who has created remixes for well known, fellow artists like Felix Jaehn, Parov Stelar, Alle Farben, The Manhattan Transfer and In-Grid.

His cover of Ray Charles’ “Hit the Road Jack” has surpassed a total of 90 million plays and has turned Lohr into one of the most sought-after Electro Swing artists worldwide, with a catalogue that now spans about 150 own tracks and remixes.

In addition to his musical endeavors, he has co-founded a Tech House label Coast Connection (@coastconnectionrecords), the “FDF” music blog (@free-download-friday), turned House-label “FDF Records”, as well as the “Electro Swing Thing” (@electroswing) label that has become a home to the versatile cross-over genre and amplifies the voices of its artists.

Bio:
Jhony Rivers was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 24th January 1983. Since he was young, he started to study arts and music, playing guitar and piano. He was part of several bands, where electronic music played an important role in the local scene. From 2006, Jhony started to mix different sounds in live for one of those bands, mixing Rock and Electronic notes. A year later he started his experience as a DJ, playing in different parties. In 2008 he started to compose his own tracks, creating a new field between virtuality and abstract sounds. He continued to explor different rhythms, creating a several works, which nowadays his own creations derive from HOUSE, PROGRESSIVE and MINIMAL SOUNDS. He has been influenced by his taste in the balance between light and darkness, generating a deal of emotions and a true party spirit on the dance. floor   



What is it all about

This sure ain't a farewell tour! It's just the start of the Scandinavian
world conquering mayhem, a Finnish phenomenon called Heavyweight DJ's, with
a capital H. It's about time to dig deep into the basics of having serious fun.

Heavyweight DJ's is a collective of four remarkable performers and EDM artists
called Rascal, Leo Lotsaless, Mista S and Lovetone. The guys have been killing
the dancefloors for huge audiences and major pefromers like LMFAO, David Guetta,
J. Lo and Skrillex all over Finland and Northern hemisphere.

Their latest video
called Butterknife has been hammered at Ministry Of Sound TV and their breakthrough
single called Come Alive has been the most desired track all over the Finnish
national radio YleX and ruled the Top 10 list over 20 weeks.

Despite all the glory, the most important thing is the live performances of the
group. There is nothing similar. You can find the true rock'n'roll spirit with
the stage divings, flying TV's and rest of the madness in the live act. It is
nonsense to describe a thing you just really have to witness.

PS. Parental advisory, don't let your daughters near the venue! There's a vast
change that they will join the movement.

The Troubadour Pariah is a continuously evolving entity comprised of one (seldom satisfied) individual guided by his creative forces of passion. Who believes in earnest songwriting and draws on all things musical, regardless of genre. The Troubadour Pariah believes in a dedicated work ethic, and also in the necessity of involving his own two hands. 

The Troubadour Pariah employs the do-it-yourself aesthetics of post-punk underground hip-hop to create a kaleidoscopic musical style that is pasted together from disparate elements of the past and present by someone with a clear appreciation for ALL the myriad forms of music that exist. And so; is therefore not only limited to one format or specific combination of styles. 

The Troubadour Pariah is for sexual empowerment, not misogyny or exploitation. And further more, believes that the inherently awesome power of sexual expression has profoundly affected the trajectory of our species mental evolution, to produce such seemingly strong manifestations as art and music. 

The Troubadour Pariah supports the right to speak freely without censorship or limitation, and complete freedom of expression; even views which could be considered unfavourable (i.e. Stalin or Hitler). And holds that the ability to seek and recieve information and ideas is a basic human right to be exercised by all without hindrance by governing bodies. 

The Troubadour Pariah is in person the outcome of many manifold prismatic descendants, the substantiation of  which has spawned an impeccable yet flawed anthropoid; an indistinct human mosaic unbound by cultural restriction. A mesmerizing aura that borders on ambivalent lunacy, a state of mind which is both hated and loved simultaneously. 

When all is said and done, The Troubadour Pariah is completely unpredictable. A bit moody and haphazard, and at times even sensitive.

Currently unsigned and looking to make his breakthrough in the music industry one day.

In 2007.... Mark started to remix songs using a piece of software called "Sony Acid Pro" but as that didn't get very far, Mark had to move on to bigger and better things so in 2008 he discovered a Swedish DJ under the name of "Basshunter", Mark started to take inspiration and stumbled across a "Youtube" video of "Basshunter" himself creating music on the spot using a piece of software called "Fruity Loops"... Thats when Mark became "Marky S" and in 2009 released his first ever song "Techno Nation". Many remixes were released in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and Marky S will have more coming up soon.
And in the near distant future Marky S might just be playing his songs near you :)

2012 has seen many remixes and hopefully many more to come in the future so stay tuned.

Inspirations have come from many artists such as Basshunter, Justin Corza, Afrojack, Skrillex, Promised Land, Deadmau5, Nicky Romero Etc.
