Hailing from the heart of Liverpool, this enigmatic artist has been on an extraordinary musical odyssey. The sonic voyage began in the distant echoes of the past, where Mooskke found solace and inspiration in the ethereal melodies of late 90s/early 2000s trance. 

At the age of 14, he started experimenting with music production, and delved into the world of keyboard playing. Achieving an impressive Grade 5 proficiency became just the first stepping stone on his path to musical greatness. Gaining a set of CDJ Turntables enabled him to experiment with different genres of electronic music and grow his musical tastes.

Mooskke's artistic evolution found its true calling in the captivating realm of progressive house. With its euphoric and evocative nature, this genre offered the perfect canvas for the artist to paint intricate emotional tapestries through sound.

After many years of hard work and false starts, Mooskke is now comfortable with his own productions. With a distinctive style that marries intricate melodies, driving basslines, and emotive textures, Mooskke has set the stage for a promising future.

I love music which has always been a big part of my life, from DJ'ing in the late 80's early 90's I was resident in Liverpool's Chauffeurs Club for 5 years (Acid house!) , I have no limits to what I listen to (Techno, Trance, Pop, Rap, DubStep etc..) as long as it hooks me.

We have our own MixDown and Mastering  studio in the Wirral and have just built a new Log Cabin for Live Recording, both studios are linked togeather and we also have a comprehensive mobile rig for location recording.

Mein DJ-Name "Max-I-muS" entstand, um meine Identität und Persönlichkeit einfliessen zu lassen und um meine Intention, durch die Mixtur aller musikalischen Genres, ein großes, einzigartiges, musikalisches Erlebnis zu maximieren, widerzuspiegeln. Biografie. Meinen ersten Plattenspieler erwarb ich mit 16 und begann, mit großer Leidenschaft, mich mit Hip Hop und RnB auszubrobieren. Ich interessierte mich gleichzeitig für den Sound von Techno und House um ihn einzumischen. Während meinem Universitätsstudium in Aberdeen, spielte ich altes Haus Vinyl und legte bei Hausparties auf. Dabei kreierte ich einen sehr individuellen Musik-Style.Zu dieser Zeit spielte ich in einer Vielzahl von verschiedenen Clubs rund um Aberdeen, sowie auch in den besten Clubs am Ort "Origin" und "Snafu".In den Semesterferien in Deutschland legte ich im Sommer in verschiedenen Open Air Locations, von Deep House bis zu Vocal House sowie Tech House Beats auf, um starke Parties mit exzellenter und komplexer Musik zu gelungenen Events zu katapultieren. Nun, da ich mein Studium beendet habe, konzentriere ich mich wieder mehr auf die Musik und organisiere Veranstaltungen als Eventmanager. In meiner Heimatstadt Karlsruhe spielte ich u.a. als Aufwärmer bei Felix Kröcher und war maßgeblich an der Schöpfung, Organisation und musikalischen Gestaltung von Rave the Cave im Gotec beteiligt.Wenn ich in die Dunkelheit eines Clubs mit meiner Musik den Raum mit Klang fülle, lösen sich die Verkrampfungen der Leute und langsam verlieren sie sich in den Beat der Musik bis zur völligen Extase….. Ausstattungsmäßig nutzte ich die Voraus-Technologie von Traktor kombiniert mit einen Model 1 von Playdifferently by Richie Hawtin and Allen Heath. So kann ich aus bis zu 6 Tracks zur gleichen Zeit Spielen auf einen Komplett Analogen Mixer, um sie auf jede nur erdenkliche Art zu mixen.

Ich mixe einen komplexen und anspruchsvollen Techno Sound.

Rob Casson is the enigmatic DJ behind Liverpool clubnight Freeze. The Freeze fairytale has quickly evolved to bringing Nick Warren and Ben Watt to an iconic aspect of Liverpool’s industrial heritage, an underground cave called the Williamsons Tunnel. Along the way they’ve brought Claude von Stroke to the city before everyone became afraid of Detroit, flirted with underground starlets James Priestley and Henry Saiz, and allowed Paulo Mojo and Spiritcatcher to pound tiny capacity rooms to submission. And Rob Casson the DJ has been at the epicentre.
It’s allowed for him to move elsewhere with his djing. A seasoned veteran of the festival circuit, Rockness, BFest and the almighty Creamfields have all resounded to the Casson brand of dance music. The Liverpool powerhouse has also asked Rob to set the tone at their Nation parties, Rob and sometime partner in crime Andy Currie warming up for Steve Angello at their Easter party, and grabbing a number of gigs on their national tours. The only other behemoth that can compete with Cream’s heritage, Ministry of Sound, booked Rob for their New Year’s Day party this year.
He’s played for Liverpool institution Chibuku Shake Shake and Manchester battalion Sankeys, whilst the talent Rob has shared booths with is enough to make even the most seasoned of jocks bristle with envy. Jerome Sydenham, Raresh, Guy J, Marcell Dettman, James Talk, Phil Weeks, Robert Babicz, Christian Smith and Danny Howells make up a fraction of the roll-call. Rob even proved his versatility with a six month weekly residency at Liverpool’s vibrant Metropolitan Bar.
Stylistically Rob is heavy on the melody and atmosphere. Drawing from the entire spectrum of house music, Rob is equally at ease building the impetus with rolling tech house grooves as he is dropping spine tingling prog tinged breakdowns. It’s a sound that has permeated his productions and remixes, which are now being prepped for release on Soulfire Records, backed up by Jet Project and Soundexile remixes.
It’s the logical progression of a career that has developed a long way since that rainy night in October 2005. Like the Freeze clubnight he has become synonymous with, Rob continues to move forward and garner national acclaim with relative ease. As he bosses more and dancefloors across the nation, the Casson grip on your feet is only going to get stronger.
