**Longyears Slowtears - Artist Biography**

Hailing from the heart of the alternative rock scene, Longyears Slowtears has emerged as a distinctive voice that expertly weaves introspective lyrics with expansive soundscapes. Formed in [1998], Longyears Slowtears consists of [Travis Moreside Jeremy Colleaux Kelly Signer], each bringing their unique talents and perspectives to the table. Their synergy is palpable, as they create a rich tapestry of sound that is at once nostalgic and innovative, reminiscent of classic rock yet firmly grounded in contemporary sensibilities.

Over the years, Longyears Slowtears has garnered a dedicated following, thanks to their powerful live performances and a series of critically acclaimed releases. Having been a Universal Edition composer since April 2022, Yiu-Kwong Chung is one of Taiwan’s best-known and most sought-after composers. He was a Professor of Music at the National Taiwan University of Arts until 2022 and was the General Director of the Taipei Chinese Orchestra (TCO) from 2007 to 2015. During his tenure with TCO, he has written concerti for numerous top-class soloists, including percussionist Evelyn Glennie, trombonist Christian Lindberg, saxophonist Claude Delangle, cellist Mischa Maisky and Anssi Karttunen, flutists Pierre-Yves Artaud and Sharon Bezaly, in addition to renowned Kronos Quartet; all were world-premiered by the TCO. In June 2012, he conducted the orchestra’s European Tour (with soloist Evelyn Glennie). He staged performances in Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and Le Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris that brought immediate international fame to the Orchestra. From 2009 to 2015, he produced six CDs released worldwide by Swedish BIS Records.

Art.Silence, the former GEBR.K, (still not knowing how to call myself) is a Cooperation of the musicians JayK and Xian3. A lot of the Songs here are single Productions of JayK. But you will find especially the classical lyrics projects like Rilke or Goethe stuff realized by JayK and Xian3, there also cooperations with Druid667 and SomeDecibel and other musicians under the label GEBR.K. The common base is JayK.
We are interested in interdisciplinary projects as just sharing music or music-video productions (search GEBR.K on YouTube).

My music is very instinctive. I like all kinds 
of music even if I attend most assiduously 
 Pop, Classical and Jazz.
I compose mostly with the piano but 
I'm experimenting  with the composition
 with acoustic guitar. I enjoy playing Sax 
and Trumpet (keys) in my tracks and in 
collaboration with other soundclouders.
I write and sing in Italian lyric and I am
 improving my singing in English. I hope
 my passion for music can give
 you some nice feeling.

Still reading? OK I'm gonna muse a bit. It's hard to fully convey how much this forum has meant to me. There are people I've never met that feel very much like old friends -- and in a very real way they are.
If I follow someone I make every effort to listen to and support their efforts. It's certainly not a transactional relationship but I do tend to limit my follows to people who engage in mutual listening and engagement.
