We were so excited when Charlie Rosen agreed to write an arrangement for us. Shortly after commissioning him to arrange “Chandelier,” I got an email from him: “Feel free to tell me I’m crazy, but would you guys be up for singing and playing at the same time to form polychords?” The answer from the whole quartet was a resounding yes! What has followed is hours of tuning, separating the vocals from the instruments, and now even voice lessons! But the result is an opening choral that is incredibly unique, and we would never have it any other way! This arrangement is explosive, dramatic, and one of our favorites with which to open our shows!
