Following their releases on Haven, Bite, and R-Label Group we are ecstatic to welcome New Frames (@newframesofficial) with their premier EP for LFEK.
Their A1 track delivers an opening volley in the form of a genuine diesel engine. “Heart Racer” goes full throttle with rolling acid arpeggiators and bittersweet melodies. A track we eagerly await in one of their infamous live sets.
In A2 “Burn Rate” offers a claustrophobic vision with its phantom whispers and pumping bass lines.
The B side kicks off with another entry into the ever-expanding, micro-genre bending multiverse of New Frames. B1 “Final Fantazy” delivers high octane action as breakbeats go head to head with trance stabs. And finally in B2 “Givv Fukk” ghetto riffs find themselves strapped onto industrial drums.

Label boss Jon Connor is back once again with his floor killer Acid drop; the term Acid refers explicitly to the harsh 'acidic' squelching sound of the Roland 303, sometimes known generally as 'acid,' is a genre of techno that was derived from acid house and developed in Europe in the late 1980s to early 1990s. It saw younger artists apply the 'squelching' synthesizer sound of Chicago acid house to harder-edged techno material.

Next up on Emerald City German duo Raumakustik serve up a sonic trip for the senses via ‘Dem A Pree’ with northern talents Patrick Topping and Jey Kurmis onboard to dish out two killer remixes.  
 
Following the huge summer anthem ‘Raider’ which dropped on Hot Creations subsidiary Hot Trax last year, Volker & Seb aka Raumakustik have been gaining an army of fans with releases following on Toolroom, Suara and Formatik. This next release, ‘Dem A Pree’ is a heavy club weapon of the highest order, prompted by dynamic and powerful vocals. “Pree means sticking your nose into someone else’s business,’ they explain. ‘Patrick Topping and Jey Kurmis did just that with our track but in this case it’s a positive thing because their perspectives on sound and vocals made it complete.”
 
Since his first release on Hot Trax back in 2013, Patrick Topping has since become one of the biggest names in the business with an intense touring schedule, a string of successful releases and a prized residency at Jamie’s Paradise night at DC10. Here he spins his signature style into the original with an intoxicating bassline that will shake any dance floor. 
 
Rising star Jey Kurmis has been making a name for himself on labels such as Moon Harbour, VIVa Music and Wow! Recordings since his artist defining EP on Hot Creations last year. Stripping the original back he creates a solid, low slung roller with industrial stabs at the forefront.

For the ninth release in their main label series Haven are proud to be inviting German production duo New Frames for their first full EP on the label, following on from the release of ‘Scatter’ on Haven’s first VA compilation - easily one of 2019’s biggest tracks with support across the board. Made up of Mathis Mootz (of The Panacea fame) and David Frisch, this powerhouse of a duo are releasing some of the most powerful and exciting tracks of recent years.

The flip is kicked off with ‘The End Of It All’ on the B1 bringing things back to slamming 4-4 territory - where ominous and powerful synth design, stomping drum rhythms, and a DnB-inspired breakdown provide another soundtrack to club madness in the duo’s discography.

We know it. You know it. Alignment is here to stay. Delivering the next round of high quality tracks on vinyl for VN043, his „Orderly Chaos“ EP mirrors our suspicious times like nothing else but techno can. 

With its main title „Orderly Chaos“ consisting of well balanced leads chasing a never ending drum programming, the consistent kick drum does what its used to do: thumping your already vibrating stomach. An early classic already, with a reasoned arrangement attached. 

We’re about to enter quicker territories on A2 by the name of „Future Dancefloor“. Clearly focussed on satisfying the biggest sound systems around, once possible again. For the time being, a forward moving rhythm infiltrates small vocal hits on this one, piercing the perfect state of rave. 

„Into The Unknown“ follows this mantra perfectly. Detailed synth placements evolve a steadily riding hi-hat shuffle, incorporating the flowing drumming which comes with it. On top of it, energising pad lines do their thing in catching us during a perfect breakdown. 

Second b-side flip is „Dark Space“, with the name saying it all. A distinctively darker sound atmosphere is paired with modulated patterns, systematically pushing the groove underneath. It’s a next stage of production class, with harmonic elements driving one’s imagination further. A perfect closing for your next, physical music purchase.
