This is a song I wrote in 2016, about overcoming negative self doubts when I was starting to write songs again after a break of about 20 years.  It’s a song of positivity and self encouragement to get on and do the things you want to before it’s too late, regardless of what stage of life you’re at.  Recording, percussion and additional fabulous chucka chucka guitars by Carl Hetherington of Van der Neer.

Written for my youngest daughter Rachel a few years ago, it explores the smooth jazz format using the Godin Encore nylon string guitar.  Annie Smart heard it, loved it, and asked to collaborate on it.  Her additions of vocals and piano are wonderful, artistic, and insightful; so good that I had to incorporate some of her lovely additions in the instrumental track. Hi. Many Thanks for looking at my profile. I like many others on here seem to have a natural ability to write songs and compose music. Although individuals can be judgemental on whether the songs are good or bad I feel that anything that is born out of inner creativity or a higher consciousness has to have some merit of good. So here I am, After 30 years and more of playing the system in working a mundane job that withers my soul, I am trying to attempt to make music my living. I would appreciate any assistance from producers, record companies, managers who can see the potential in my work. I thank all of you who are following me on here and thank all of your comments. I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
