Sound Shikari (Formerly knows as G Productions and a BBC Introducing Artist) is an upcoming and talented Dubstep artist who is making an impact with a new genre of Devotional Music.

Growing up in a household where religious music played a key role, he quickly absorbed sounds around him. At a very early age he started to play tabla in front of audiences accompanied by his father and brother, from whom he draws major inspiration.

He represents the young new breed of musicians who are grounded to their roots and yet make music which is an amalgamation of folk, religious, classical and electronic.

Growing creatively with each track, He shows that his talents are not only limited to Dubstep to other genres of electronic music as well.

His future plans are to revive the dieing folk and instrumental music and make beats that are unique and progressive.

Drumscapes is the solo live sampling ( live looping ) project of UK percussionist Jon Sterckx. Using a range of percussion instruments, vocal percussion & live sampling, Jon creates live multi - percussion rhythmic soundscapes - 'Drumscapes'.

Drumscapes tracks are created using only acoustic percussion instruments, vocal percussion & audio effects.

In live performance all instruments are played, sampled, mixed & processed live on stage, creating a live multi percussion multi-track performance of highly energised rhythmical journeys.

After growing around the 90-00s rave / electronics scene, my music is generally inward looking. I make music to feel something new and that can expand on my audio personality.

Jon Sterckx is a percussionist and tabla player based in Stroud, South West UK.

Jon plays a range of percussion instruments and has worked across a wide range of musical styles, from Indian classical music and other traditional musical forms to contemporary experimental & 'fusion' styles, theatre & dance collaborations, and solo multi-percussion live sampling performances 'Drumscapes'.

Jon studied tabla in the UK with Harjinder Singh Matharu and in India with Shivanand Bhandari ( Karnataka) and Kailash Nishad ( Benares).
