Aaron Martin & Christoph Berg’s split called “Day Has Ended” is a piece of quiet, intimate music, interfused with daylight and covered by a soft mist of evening dreams. This album spans the course of a day until the point where night falls.

The first part, created by Aaron Martin, is a water-colour, cool and delicate. The twinkling sun reflected itself in a slow river, transparent silvery clouds sparkle and brush the heads of drowsy trees. The closer to the middle of the album, the lower goes the gentle shadow, saturating. In the second part - Christoph Berg’s one, water-colour turns into gouache. The sound becomes more full, more sensuous, it comes in waves, like breath of a sleeping man.

Just close your eyes, be all ears and you’ll feel – the night is not silent. Sweet tune of twilight and darkness full of echo, humming blue, vague voice of the strings and clear gleaming of bright stars in a velvet sky – that is the night.

It’s a perfect and severely sincere work, slightly bittered with melancholy.

Aaron Martin is a very talented multi-instrumentalist from Topeka, Kansas who has releases on such labels as Experimedia, Preservation, Under The Spire, Sonic Meditations.

Christoph Berg is composer and sound artist currently living and working in Berlin focusing on fragile acoustic chamber music compositions. Also writes electro-acoustic music as Field Rotation. He has releases on Facture, hibernate, Denovali Records, Fluid Audio.

Another year is going to end, I'm very happy my music project is still going very strong!

Tomorrow I will be leaving for my holidays, I didn't have much time to compose music lately, but tonight I had a few hours and I was feeling really inspired, so I decided to compose a new track as a gift for you all! I made the track in 2 hours, it's a bit more fast, energetic and positive than my latest works, I really hope you will like it!

Chasing Dreams - Together

Searching forever

The immersion is immediate. There is no threshold, no warning. There is only the entry into a space that pulses beyond the limits of perception. This is not music that leads—it is music that takes you on a journey El Ein Sof, towards the Infinite.

The soul does not seek a path to the summit. It knows that all maps of the heavens are but an illusion. The true direction is a journey inward, into the depth of Being itself, where 'up' and 'down' no longer exist. This is the sound of deconstruction. The layers of sound, which slowly build and transform, are the echoes of successive veils of reality that the soul casts aside. The emerging spatial effects are not ornaments—they are evidence of approaching the Source, where the logic of time and space loses its meaning.

In the end, as the music subsides and the multitude of sounds gives way to unity, only a single, pulsating tone remains. It is the final echo of creation, the very heartbeat of Ein Sof, which slowly fades into the ultimate, creative Silence. This is the moment where the journey ends, and the soul becomes one with the Infinite.
