Maikol Knight a.k.a Don Maze competed in his first DJ Battle in 2003 and continued to actively compete until representing his hometown at the Swedish DMC DJ Mastership in 2005. He left the turntablism scene and started DJing the music he was passioned about, early 80’s Disco, Funk and Boogie in clubs and bars around Stockholm where he then was residing. For places such as East, Lokal, Bauer, Bruno Gallerian and brands as Adidas. 
He later decided to move to Amsterdam where he became a resident DJ at Kashmir Lounge, playing for H&M and at De Baile. After some years of studies and focusing on entrepreneurship now back in his hometown he got asked to perform again thinking it belonged to the past but it actually brought back the passion of mixing and giving people new sounds. 
Now the sound evolved from the 80’s music into House music with influences from Disco and Chicago House.

INFINITY SOUND GOTHENBURG SWEDEN BIOGRAPHY

It all started with just a mixtape CD mixed by Fred for fun and was completely sold out at Summer Jam Reggae Festival (Germany 2007). That is when Lucky Fred (Main Selector/Founder) a riddim collector at that time and Mighty Bento (MC/Founder) long time reggae dancehall
listener from Zimbabwe one of the biggest African reggae dancehall fan base came together and created Infinity Sound based in Gothenburg Sweden's second largest city. At that time it was only 3 sounds that had control of the city's reggae scene but through hard work Infinity Sound earned their stripes leading to a lot of bookings home and abroad from festivals to bashment and outdoor parties.

Still all this was not enough because there was that burning desire to enter into the clash scene and rub shoulders against big sounds, that eventually led to the building up of a strong dub box which to this date has resulted in 3 clash wins out 5 in Denmark Copenhagen Reggae Festival Sound Clash 2013 to Gothenburg Sweden Coast to Coast Sound Clash 2014 and most recently in Stockholm Sweden Killer Instinct Sound Clash 2016.

As of now Infinity Sound has a new selector Young P, who is bringing in new set of ideas and running the studio which is a base to our new project called Mash Up Radio (www.mashupradio.se). The project is a platform for interviews with main focus on the underground scene which we strongly believe set the trend.
