Monaberry welcome a genuine OG to their family: Madrid magician Luis Junior. With over 20 years of releases on some of the most respected labels across electronica, he returns with his biggest release in several years. Four originals, one killer remix from Super Flu, get to know:

‘Energy Success’ is an immense construction. An intense narrative with full suspense and release through its bewildering staccato synth riff, this drives and drives until you don’t think it can twist any further… Only to find it does.

‘Ways’ takes us even deeper into Luis’s cosmic universe as a beautiful humanoid texture provides the lead while big washes sweep in the background. Gently rising with layers of positivity and musicality, there’s bewildering magic laced deep into the soul of the track… Something that label boss Super Flu complement in a completely flipped way with the remix. Taking the chords and building them around tightly plucked instrumentation, there’s a pensive sense of drama running throughout.

Elsewhere ‘Reality’ is every bit the jolt its name suggests. Strident, pulsating with a theatrical edge, this lives in its own lane. A true 1am level-raiser, this is the quintessential ‘no-turning-back’ track when the late night massive slip into top gear.

Finally ‘This Is Now’ closes the EP with a stark, stripped back march that rasps with alien dub delays and a time-bending sense of technoid trippiness. This is now, this is the past, this is the future… Places where Luis has dominated since his first releases 25 years ago. Rest assured we’ll be seeing him again soon, too.

Madrid-based producer Bawrut has turned to one of the freshest musical exports of the Iberian peninsular in recent years. As his style holds classic as well as new elements the producer creates an overlap that DJs and club-goers cannot only agree on but rather become enthusiastic about. The artist's latest work, his 'Jomo EP', is going to be released shortly on PETS Recordings and the four-tracker and represents the Bawrut's aforementioned musical approach. 'Pioneers', the A1 of the EP and probably namely paying tribute to original electronic music artists, does the same in terms of sounds without a reference to today's club-culture as the chosen elements and synth-chords may follow a vintage approach but sound so refurbished that the sparkle of the present if not to say the future shines through. 

Bawrut's EP 'Jomo' will be released December 7th, 2018 on PETS Recordings.

Made one day before Miami's infamous Rakastella party, premiered there on Will Renuart's “The Kiss” stage and being one of the highlights during a shared slot with DJ Tennis, I was secretly hoping for Running Back to get awarded with it. It basically sums up all the qualities of a DJ Tennis set: you get the highs and lows, the loud and quiet parts, it pogoes and it prances and it's basically impossible to resist his shuffle. “Starck” on the other hand, scales it a bit down, but is equally overwhelming as are the atmospheric respectively cinematic versions of both tracks – less imaginative people might call them ambient. Game, set, match! Thank you, Manfredi!”

10th release on @idasound comes from Bogdan from Saint-Petersburg, also known as "Krjuk" and member of duo "Soft Metal". 
Four original tracks on the EP are full of breakbeat influences with acid lines and quirky percussions, filled with weird vocal cuts, wonky and atmospheric melodism. This combination ends up in some finest leftfield sound in the result.
We got Miskotom from Vilnius on the remix bringing dark and mystic vibe to the title track while ИДА co-founders Uninc & Kolomensky make a signature touch on ‘Sevkabel Acid’.

he Citizen’s of Vice collective welcomes Adam Hignell's Don Dayglow alias to the label for a fresh four track EP. The 'Particle Zoo' label boss and DJ/Producer has been racking up the releases on both his own and other illustrious labels including Midnight Riot and Hot Digits. 'With Love' is the new EP and it features four sublime cuts that take in Disco, House and classic Electronic vibes. 
This is an EP with feeling and thought, evidenced particularly in 'Fight Back'. Adam sings about a subject very close to his heart - the ongoing climate crisis. The artist says "Extinction Rebellion sign-off their emails "with love and rage" - and this phrase has burned into my psyche. Love is the only weapon against evil, but love is a doing word... I'm full of rage that the youth are left to deal with this crisis and want to use my music to fight back somehow. My song tries to find the beauty in this emotion, yet as a House/Disco artist I don't believe I need to sacrifice anything, aesthetically… 

I'm seeking a way to express complex political ideas in danceable slices of boogie music." No less worthy, the remaining three tracks, Hooked On Music, Square Leg & Can't Get Enough take the listener on a journey through dance-floors past and present. Touches of Acid House, Rave and Techno rub shoulders with tight production, punchy bass, funky rhythms and more earworms than an earworm factory. 

With Love is a diverse EP that is playful, positive and shows you can place important subject matter in credible dance music.
