Biography

Nems-B (Nahim Bendjilali), born in 1979 in Aix-en-Provence, is a French DJ and producer with over 20 years of experience.

Rooted in Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Hip Hop, he embraced House and Techno in the mid-90s.

Known for his refined selections and technical skills, he runs the podcast/event platforms Phonons and Deepness Road.

He has performed at top venues across France (Concrète, Glazart, Terminal, La Java, Les Jardins Suspendus) and internationally at Tresor (Berlin), Paral·lel Festival (Spain), Contact (Tokyo), Vurt (Seoul), Gare (Porto), and more.

His music has been released on Oslated, Geometrika FM, On Board Music, Goldmin Music, Accent Records, with upcoming EPs on Lemme Records.

The best is yet to come.

DJ Subway is a Norwegian DJ, booker and promoter located in Bergen, and is one of the main figures in the Norwegian Drum&Bass scene. He's been playing massive beats for nearly three decades, as he started his musical career as a DJ back in 1997, his sound is deep and deadly with the best beats and the darkest bass, his nickname "The Dark Soldier" is well deserved. 

His presence behind the turntables is unprecedented, winding up the dancing crowd into a frenzy of joyful mayhem on the dancefloor with his strictly all thrillers no fillers dj-sets! He has played alongside artists and other DJ's such as Goldie, Ed Rush, Lenzman, Doc Scott, TeeBee, Raiden, John Rolodex, Photek, Counterstrike, Serial Killaz, Terry T, Future Prophecies, MC Navigator, Concord Dawn, PsychoFreud, Rawthang, System Noise, Gracie T, Broken Note, Tim Reaper, Charlie Tee, DJ Marky, MC GQ and Commix to name a few.

DJ Subway is at the moment part of the club night Drum Club, as both as the curator but also as the resident dj. He was also the founder and co-founder of Drum&Bass club nights ROOM 101, Drum Club, We Love Drum&Bass! and Riot Club. ROOM 101 has been up and running since 2008 and has it's residency held regularly at The Villa in Oslo. Norway’s only club who has made it into the DJ Mag’s Top 100 clubs in the world.

Boards of Canada is a Scottish electronic music duo comprised of brothers Mike Sandison (b. 1 June 1970) and Marcus Eoin (b. 21 July 1971). 

They have released a number of works, most notably Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi, with little advertising and few interviews. Their sound has frequently made reference to sounds of the 1970s and the 1980s. It recalls, amongst other things, the warm, scratchy, artificial sounds of 1970s television, and indeed, band members Michael and Marcus admit to being inspired by the documentary films of the National Film Board of Canada, from which the group's name comes.

Phonons is a non-profit organization supporting electronic musicians and selectors. It is based in Marseille - France and has strong connections in Europe , Asia and in the USA. It was founded in 2011 at the initiative of Nahim Bendjilali, Philippe Gray-Lopez and Vincent Telandro.

Phonons supports sound artists by providing expression spaces: we organize parties and showcases :: we promote the artists' work through our podcast and events. We mainly focus on electronic music.
