Markus Wesen started out in Cologne's electro and techno scene and can now look back on a long journey as a DJ, producer and promoter. 
The legendary clubs of Ibiza as well as hotspots in South America and Asia became his musical home. Releases on Baikal Nomads, YION, Fenestra, YellowTail, Kosa or the cult label Global Underground followed. 

In Markus' style you can find distinct influences of deep & downtempo, but his sound cannot be pigeonholed. From tangled, technoid tracks to melodic house grooves, his record case has everything that creates hypnotic arcs of tension and joy in dancing. 

Markus regularly DJs at Sisyphos and organizes parties in Cologne as part of the artist collective Neotopia. As an editor at Rautemusik, he designs the Medicstation show and, since 2017, the Neotopia-Potpüree on 674.fm. And by the way, he is also a lecturer on topics related to electronic music and production. A real jack of all trades.
