It was a pleasure and an honor for me to meet Vincent Carayol on Soundcloud about two years ago. Vincent has become a good friend, and he is someone with whom I share similar views on music. He is also a great songwriter. I got particularly impressed and moved by his song "Du bleu" (https://soundcloud.com/vincent-chansons-bleues/du-bleu). For quite some time, we have been talking about covering it together. Last week, I decided to stop procrastinating and recorded some acoustic guitars and vocals, which I sent to Vincent. He was so happy with the result that he advised me to post this version as is, and this is just what I am doing today (May 3, 2016).

This project is a simulated experience. You are listening to the Jonny 5 musical robot Serial# A00785, manufactured as a replacement of juke boxes and human disc jockeys. Jonny 5ive plays his music in a dark, smoky, dystopian, shantytown future bar called "Castella" to ease the strain on the minds of the working class. His traveling shows are quite popular in the Dogtown slums and Mechano district.
