Thanks for checking out my Soundcloud Collaborations. It begin early with Dirty Phillip when we created the music group 'HIVE MIND'. Phil graciously introduced me to ableton live suite 9, and trained my stubborn ass in all the bells and whistles. He is an instrumental influence on my style, no doubt. From there, I created the album ranges, which caught the attention of Rick Shearer, and we continue to work together. I worked with Jubal Thomas briefly, but he ghosted on me! Where are you Jubal? haha. Then I had the pleasure to work with 31-439/Chosokabe, on the Confinement Remix, which helped me get through a troubled time. Thanks to all and I look forward to adding to this list!

Like most of my work, this track is entirely experimental as I explore the depths of ableton suite and its various tools and settings. The production of this track occurred during an extremely hard time in my life, a horrendous tragedy. That is why the track experiences a wide range of tonal change and emotions, especially the heavy and sometimes obnoxious percussion inspired by early works of DJ Shadow. Thanks to 31-439 for allowing me to throw paint at your canvas!

This is the first time I am releasing an album as a physical product at the same time as a digital version. The second disc of the double CD set contains 13 additional tracks straight off the vinyl acetates that I composed and created in order to make legit sounding samples for A Color Map of The Sun.

Like always, the album is available in its entirety as a free download via prettylightsmusic.com. For the first time however, I encourage you to purchase a copy of the album. There are two honest reasons for this. The main reason is that as an artist I have always reinvested any success I have directly back into the music, the show and the art that goes along with it. Secondly, this isn't just an album; it is a massive collection of music beyond what is on the CDs that I will continue to put out after the album release. There is an insightful documentary film on the making of this project to be released alongside the launch of the album, as well as a music video for every song. They are all beautiful and uniquely unusual pieces of art.

This "album" is a multi-medium map of my mind and my self. It is personal and honest and I put everything into it. I have stayed on the path of being a completely independent musician and with the help of every supporter and friend, we have transformed a simple idea into a movement, a cultural beacon of light. If you can, I encourage you to purchase a digital or physical copy of A Color Map of the Sun. If not simply support by sharing the music and sharing the idea. If there is any success to be had from this album, it will go back into my rule bending, never ending quest to channel beauty and taste through music and art.

Welcome to the Jonny 5 Project music channel!  This project pays homage to a typical 80's childhood inundated with all kinds of robot-themed science fiction,

This project is a simulated experience. You are listening to the Jonny 5 musical robot Serial# A00785, manufactured as a replacement of juke boxes and human disc jockeys. Jonny 5ive plays his music in a dark, smoky, dystopian, shantytown future bar called "Castella" to ease the strain on the minds of the working class. His traveling shows are quite popular in the Dogtown slums and Mechano district.
