Berlin based Mon Groove has rocked "Techno City" numerous times for 10 years. In Suicide Circus, he was for many years resident of recurring event series and besides apperances in clubs like about:blank, Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Kit Kat or Golden Gate and invitations to cities like Munich, Vienna, Strasbourg, Salzburg or Cologne, he also squatted various underground off-locations. The sneaky mob-actions in bank branches called "Reclaim the Sparkasse" elicited some media attention. In 2017 eventually came down to co-found "Fehler-Musik" to feature deep, melodic and dark techno releases alike. Melodic, deep, colorful, stompy or dark are also some adjectives describing the sets, that always try to amalgamate with the crowds and surroundings where they are occurring.

I've been mixing tunes for about 20+ years now. My love affair with dance music started at a ripe age of 10/11, Thanks to my sister who is 6 years older.She was clubbing in the early 90s and bringing home mix tapes that I would borrow out of her bedroom, with the likes of DJ Welly, Sasha....etc. Early Tunes that stand out - 2 Bad mice - Bombscare, Sonz of a loop de loop era - Far out, Zero B (Lockup)Hyper Go Go ,Pin Up Girls. To name a few Tunes/Groups.  Even before all that i remember watching MTV and Herbie Hancock playing "Rock it" with Grand Mixer DXT scratching. Top of the pops was reallygood in the early nineties also with Expansions "Elevate" ,Njoi, SL2 and Bizzare inc. I knew then that when i could afford I was going to own some turntables. Progressing through my teenage years my love of dance music was progressing also and i was listening to Slipmatt, DJ Producer and those helter skelter hardcore sounds, with the addition of Techno!!! - Joey Beltram, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Tanith, CJ Bolland, Colin Dale, Carl Cox. Starting my own clubbing days down Angels Burnley and other venues close to home all with great atmospheres and friendly people....i had some wicked nights, all the while still thinking of how i can afford some turntables and how to learn to mix. In amongst all of these nights/days clubbing mid to late teens i was introduced to some local talents who were like minded musically and playing house parties and other venues, here is where i could watch them mix live and try and take it all in. 1996/1997 is a time that really stands out, when a good friend took me to a small club in Morley Leeds The Afterdark, Saturdays were known as  "The Orbit"  The layout of the club, The Music, The Atmosphere, The people, The lighting and visuals were just like nothing i had experienced before and was locally unrivalled. Amazing how a club could have such a profound affect on a person/persons as a clubber and or wannabe DJ. Being able to watch these Monster Dj's  tear up a club and to observe nutters going hell for leather was probably the best 4/5 years of my clubbing days. Drawing inspiration from the Big DJ's and local friends/DJ's is when i invested in some 1210's and started to learn to mix, Again with help and guidance from The local talent..(Can't thank you enough).
