As you might have heard or read, the guys behind Trance Classics started an event on Facebook a while ago. Their goal is to get a true trance classic to the #1 spot of the Beatport Trance Chart. I was very proud when I found out that they decided to pick the track “Gouryella” by Gouryella! As you might know, “Gouryella” is a project that Tiësto and myself started in the year 1999.

In just a few days time, “Gouryella” already made it to the #7 position of the Trance Chart!
Tiësto and myself really like this cool initiative and we find it amazing to see a track that we did together back in 1999, seeing climb the charts that fast!

Because we both support this spontaneous initiative, we decided that we will give all royalties of the track to charity.

So, we will donate all royalties of “Gouryella - Gouryella” to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), an independent nonprofit organization, whose mission it is, to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.

About the cd:
So this release came out at the peak of my clubbing days and coincided with 'that visit to Gatecrasher' on the summer bank holiday of 2008. Which came about due to the rest of the gang all heading down to the first ever Creamfields (Or maybe it was Homelands by then). From what I can remember, the club was a huge, 2 roomed rave temple with followers of it's religion going mental each and every weekend. One of the lads freaked out at the amount of 'colourful' clubbers in his vicinity and went and sat in the car alone all night! (Actual LOL here).

But about the CD, considering this is the 'Early set' you can get an idea of how banging this club was. And of course went onto become the new super club of the north and throwing parties around the world with countless other CD releases. Rob IYF - Warped Science Promo Mix

I thought I'd share my first mix of this trance track I've been working on.  I used to love listening to stuff when I was younger and had all the classic gatecrasher and trance nation cd's!  This is me being a bit nostalgic!  Any comments/constructive criticisms are most welcome - I'm certainly not an expert in mixing/mastering etc.

I've finally gotten around to finishing this off.  Just made a few tweaks to the mix and effects here and there.  If you loved the old-school trance nation or gatecrasher albums then this is for you... enjoy!
