It took many hours of mixing to get the right notes for the harmonies. There are 4 tracks for each of us! And before those sounds were even finalized we layered the track with many electronic and organic samples."

This song is a euphoric blend of modern and classic sounds.

The Story

We were inspired to create uplifting dance beats with upbeat pop vibes.

The Soca bassline is the backbone and the first part we wrote. We found our main inspiration in the vocal sample and the synth pads. Pitching the voc chops, layering synths, and building the drums around them, the song really came alive! We plan to sing on it to create a full production. 

This instrumental is for listeners to DANCE + POP + FREESTYLE to! GET FUNKY.

Automation crashed my DAW a lot. Also includes piano, and vinyl fuzz for texture! A classic love lost/new love found theme. A story of change & overcoming. The words came to me one day as we neared closer to returning to a somewhat "normal" society(on the outside anyway). I laid the beat out in under a week, a new record for me haha! Spent hours daily grindin' on horn samples & bass rhythms to get this SEXY AF.
