This site can be seen as a musical tale of the members of the band called The Mescaline Smugglers: Davy McGowan, Jore Heikkila and Tuomas Laitila. But it also includes their other bands, and bands in which they play together in different combinations or solo projects, before and after The Mescaliners. So, seems to be miscommunications when it comes to making music with me. Rule number one--Dont Waste My Time. Rule Two The music we do together is both of our works; we both have equal rights. Rule Three Once we create a song you cannot take that away from me. I will share the song as it is treated as a contract between musician and singer. Rule Four Please, refer back to rule one. I love music--its not about money for me--but spreading joy through improvisational storytelling. So please--Keep your intentions pure if you want to work with me. Also, once I allow for a download, once you have downloaded it and have agreed to make a song you must produce that song or I will consider it a form of theft and misrepresentation. Sorry had to set some rules and boundaries, because some people are taking advantage of my generosity with regards to songs and lyrics I write.

A Shout Out of Gratitude to everyone sharing commenting and liking our Track Ava's Song: Star Born Child. She succumbed to her injuries in a accident involving a distracted driver. Some of her organs were then donated.She was a really special child that left this world much too soon. She is still with US in spirit and would have loved her song!

There is so much talent and variety here, and most of the people are pretty cool too. I love being part of this community. Listening to your music and being heard in return is enough.

Still reading? OK I'm gonna muse a bit. It's hard to fully convey how much this forum has meant to me. There are people I've never met that feel very much like old friends -- and in a very real way they are.
If I follow someone I make every effort to listen to and support their efforts. It's certainly not a transactional relationship but I do tend to limit my follows to people who engage in mutual listening and engagement. If you listen and leave a comment I always try to listen to *your* music when responding! If you follow at random without any feedback I hope you get something out of that too... ; )
