But I don’t see how any of that applies to me

And I was in charge calling me boss is something that you might do

Maybe when they call me boss it’s a sign of respect
Or maybe they think it’s a really nice way to connect
But the way I see it calling someone boss is like calling somebody captain, sport or chief
If they could just call me sir, mister or Joe that would be a real relief

I’m not your boss, and when you call me boss, I’m not sure how to reply

When you call me boss, I can’t help but think that you’re mocking me
If you think I am the boss, then maybe I should get my groceries for free

I'm Not Your Boss

I started playing drums at age 10 and was playing a drum set by the time I was 13. At 14 I started playing in a band and I have been playing in bands since then.  Started playing guitar and writing songs when I was 18. I currently play in a rockabilly/surf/early rock ‘n’ roll band called the  Fat City Rockers.

My biggest influences are the Beatles, the Doors, the Kinks, the Ramones, ￼￼￼￼￼￼the Sex ￼Pistols and David Bowie. My songwriting tends to reflect more of my classic rock influences than my punk but both influences are there, mixed with a hint of country. ￼￼

Songs with a twinge of humor (and some a bit more serious).

Recently I have had the urge to pick up my guitars (Taylor 114ce and Fender Squire) and I have been trying to use more guitar in my songs.  
My go to .vst plug ins are  EZkeys 2, EZ Bass and  EZ drummer 3) and my DAW is Logic Pro 11.

I have attended an audio school and worked several years at a concert hall named Olavshallen https://www.olavshallen.no/arrangere/store-sal I followed Khaliq Glover’s courses and webinars. I've been into sound engineering since 1991 and mixed over 1000's of songs. I have previously mixed for One Time Records and have released a vinyl with Koalra. I also have mixed "Where Do I Go" with Chris TR that was airtimed on the BBC radio

I use Universal Audio, fabfilter, soundtoys, autotune, melodyne, ozone and Plugin Alliance plugins and have a Uad apollo interface .

 I also use outboard gear like the RME Fireface, Universal Audio 2-1176 stereo compressor , An Avalon channelstrip, a space echo RE-201, a Drawmer 1968 mkii, and a Lexicon Pcm92. Also a dual ssl eq

HS Recordings is a small label in the making, it was organized back in 1999, and behaved like a Phoenix bird. It soared with a musical opus, then fell to the ground. The label was organized by two friends Jan Slavov (Dj UNO) and Sergey Ptitsin (  ZARINE, S13, NIR300, PTITZYN ...) on the basis of the HAVANA CLUB institution in St. Petersburg. Life has been swept away by comrades around the world, but the idea of ​​the label is still alive and is being realized again.
