Suddenly had a bunch of ideas for a reboot of Chapter Nosemashed a couple of weeks ago, scribbled down a bunch of sketches and this goofy little chiptune.

"Nosemash's DELTASWAP!" (the "!" is a distinctive part of the title and should never be written without it) is my new plan for a swap AU. The goal is to deviate from the Chapter Rewritten role swaps in order to be more distinctive (hence the name no longer having anything to do with it) and to have more of an emphasis on humour, which I think was lacking in my original AU. I have plenty of character and music ideas currently, but I'm waiting until June 4th to see what new ideas Chapters 3-4 might trigger before I make any hard decisions. Enjoy the funny music for now.

[CLICKER rides in on his Segway, knocking the ROBED FIGURE offscreen]

CLICKER: STOP IN THE NAME OF THE LAW!
APRIL: What the-
CLICKER: You two 'ooligans are under arrest for violating Section 24 Paragraph 2 of the Illegal Lightners Act 193X. I 'ereby sentence you to 50 years in the nick.
APRIL: *turns to SUSIE* This is just too much. Pinch me. NOW.
CLICKER: No gossip when I'm trying to arrest you, young ladies!
APRIL: Arrest us for what?! This is a dream! There are no laws!
CLICKER: Can't you read the sign, Miss?!
APRIL: What sign?
CLICKER: *looks around anxiously* Erm… Good point.

[CLICKER inexplicably produces a big red road sign that's taller than himself from behind his back, then stabs it into the ground. It has an illustration of the Delta Rune with a cross through it.]

CLICKER: THIS sign! No Lightners! No heroes! No weird old geezers in robes!
APRIL: Oh, THAT sign. (Wake up, wake up…)
CLICKER: What's your name, miss?
APRIL: Your mother.
CLICKER:*pulls out a notebook and starts scribbling in it* "y-o-r-'e… m-“ OI! You just violated Section 26 Paragraph 13 of the Illegal Alphabet Act 196X!
APRIL: *sigh* What did I do now?
CLICKER: It would seem that your surname begins with the letter "M", Miss! A glyph solely reserved for the name of the Master, high ruler of the land! Oh, you're in for it now, sunbeam!
APRIL: Wow. Is my subconscious trying to tell me something about my relationship with authority or something?
CLICKER: Your designated arrest officer is trying to tell you something about 50 DECADES in the nick!
APRIL: Wow… I guess that means I could spend half the time staring at the ceiling and counting the bugs crawling through the cracks in it… And then I could sleep for the other 250 years…
CLICKER: What are you blathering on about?!
APRIL: I don’t know. Do I get to wake up now?

[CLICKER initiates battle]

APRIL: I guess not.

FUTURE CHAPTERS – The team is ready! We should be working on stuff soon.
DELTASWAP! – I just don't really see the point any more until the whole of Deltarune is released and we get the complete arcs of all the characters. All the post-Chapter 4 Deltaswaps that use Asriel/Ralsei<>Dess/Knight are going to be in big trouble if Dess doesn't turn out to be the Knight.
