On this first release on Lömsk, four characterful & sly tracks reside. Starting with “Greven”, its focus is on an eroding & melodic synthline, with pulsating & abundant drums and clattering hi-hat patterns. Next comes “Skamsen” twisting things with wriggle-inducing detuned polyrhythmic sequences & straight machine funk. With the two tracks on the B-side, things take a shifty turn with the first one being the nervous “Svett”, a sweaty energy entity with haunting reverse elements. Originally hailing from the mysterious and foggy landscapes of Lake Garda, Italy - Larry Ferrari aka Aristydes is a Barcelona based DJ and producer, resident of the fast rising Manchester/Barcelona based label @01366. He has developed his signature hypnotic yet dynamic sound over the years spent simultaneously as a piano composer and as a raver.
Meticulous in his approach, Larry a perfectionist, enjoys building up from the ground and drowning the listener in for the duration - adding ethereal atmospheres and driving percussions into the mix.
Aristydes believes techno is political so merging clubbing culture with peace studies he is lately exploring the possibility of using techno as a tool for conflict resolution.

For the fifth release on his budding X/OZ imprint, Icelandic producer Exos joins forces with Colombian techno talent Gotshell to deliver four ethereal techno cuts on their 'Black River' EP, including the mesmerizing and cosmic track 'Svartá'. 

Spawned from their journey through Colombia together, Exos and Gotshell's new material draws inspiration from "the Colombian spirits". The hypnotic soundscapes take listeners through smooth and emotive atmospherics layered over gripping rhythms that originate and fluctuate with the deep spiritual entities of Colombia.

The 'Black River' EP, which also features a remix from Maayan Nidam, is set for release October 12.
