We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records is 
insanely proud to team up with the mighty Ze Records 
(Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Was Not Was, Lio...) 
for an exclusive re-edition of Garçons' no wave gem 
"Re-Bop".

The limited 12" vinyl includes the original song by 
Marie et les Garçons produced by John Cale, its 
infamous "Re-Bop Electronique" rework and a 
dancefloor-ready and Ivan Smagghe-approved edit by 
Tel Aviv producers Red Axes.

Garçons originated from Marie et les Garçons, a punk 
band from Lyon, France formed in the 70s by Patrick 
Vidal, Eric Fitoussi, Jean-Pierre Charriau and Marie. 
Quickly achieving cult status thanks to edgy releases, a 
performance at New York's legendary CBGB and 
sharing stages with Patti Smith and Talking Heads, 
the band lost Marie at the end of the decade and 
morphed into Garçons, a trio pursuing mutant disco 
and no wave fantaisies. The rest is history: a short 
career celebrated in the underground, a deserved place 
in France's best kept secret hall of fame, and a whole 
lot of timeless music.

Israeli-born Berlin based producer and DJ Omer debuts his first release on Cocktail d'Amore with two offerings of celestial house. The title cut blends the sounds of the east with an immediately seductive atmosphere of bright melodies leaving the listener plenty of room to be transfixed through it's entirety. “Dust” dives deeper to reveal a more melancholic mood built on a symphony of lush pads and swirling metallic percussion. On remix duties are the wonderfully quirky Estonian duo Ajukaja & Andrevski who deliver an oddball re-imagining which sends the original into outer space as it gently builds to sparkling fervor only heard on the outskirts of galaxies. Rounding out the release is Man Power with an acid tinged burner which explodes into en excitement of live percussion and pads leaving any dance floor in complete ecstasy.

The corridor echoed with the sound of birds and whistles. The glass chamber was kept awfully warm in the summer, although that was partially as a result of the radiant heat which burned down upon the greenhouse from outside. Within the melting pot there was a delicate harmony which was hard to replicate out there amidst the wilderness of the city. Wild things simply did not grow amidst the concrete jungle, despite the funny turn of phrase. In here all things could flourish in their own time. 

Maestro are a new Scottish/ French power duo who are to release their second album in the coming months. They have showcased a single from the forthcoming release on a new EP for Tigersushi, complete with some stellar remixes. General Ludd do the damn thing this time around.

Stijn Sadée is becoming somewhat of a XXX regular. Having previously released on Bordello A Parigi and Kitjen, the Dutch DJ, producer and live performer graces the SHMLSS run record label once again with his open-minded approach towards acid-driven heavy hitters, tropically-tinged atmospherics and avant-garde house stylistics. Next to the four originals, Lithuanian tastemaker Manfredas supplies a stellar remix. After witnessing Sadée perform live at a festival in Amsterdam, the two connected and the idea of a remix was born. The record comes with an artwork collaboration between Stijn and his brother Thomas Sadée.
