Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music, and this mix is no exception... Belgrade’s Klub 20 / 44 is one of the best small clubs not only in Serbia but globally. Situated at the confluence point of rivers Sava and Danube, across the ancient fortress, clubbing at the boat 20 / 44 is a unique experience. Over the past decade, the club hosted some of the biggest underground DJs but its real strength resides with the local resident DJs who are forming and pushing the taste of the local audience. Radio Alhara is happy to bring you a new mix from residents of 20 / 44 every month. We are starting with DJ Brka, one of the founders of the legendary Disco Not Disco parties. Brka is the main resident of 20 / 44 since the opening of the club in 2009, he played all over the world and is one of the most loved DJs in Southeast Europe. Brka delivers an easy going summery Balearic mix for Radio Alhara.

From his early days opening for Doc Martin at "Unlock the House" and his classic mixtape series "Acid Junky", to the 14 years he spent living in NYC shopping at such legendary shops as Sonic Groove, Dance Trax, and Satellite Records, to his move back to California and renaissance in 2010 with epic gigs at Sublevel (with Doc and DJ Pierre), Jack (with Brett Johnson and Psychemagik), Mount Analog's Nuit Noire (with Legowelt, Xosar, and D'Marc Cantu), as well as multiple Sunny Side Up's at the 5 Star Bar, and the Legendary MFD party at the Kohler St. Warehouse.  Currently residing in Colorado. Vinyl only.
