Sequel Sound is a recording imprint uniting forward thinking music and visually stimulating design. The roots of the label, have been 25 years in the making-- generating in the ears, brains and sweat of co-founders Josh Mace and Jeff Everett. The specific sound was just a twinkle in the bass, inspired by 80's and early 90's electronica/techno, in the trenches of underground rave parties, live concerts and art shows until 2014. Stimulated by a profusion of creative energy they have collaborated with artists from around The United States to bring experimental art inspired releases challenging today's standard of shiny dance floor hits.

Birthed from the grit and grime of the 90's Midwest rave scene. Inspired by the music and DJ’s coming out of Detroit, Chicago, New York, Berlin & the UK, as well as the raves happening across the Midwest during that magickal time. 1 Auxy began his obsession with record collecting in '95, as well as learning to dj. House parties, warehouses and club nights. Late nights and early mornings. Techno, house, ambient & the intersection where they meet. Raw, soulful, and psychedelic. Mixing old and new. For the love of music. No bullshit. No gimmicks.

I am a producer and a writer. Sometimes I even DJ. I have been DJing and producing electronic music FOREVER. I started about when Jesus was born with a wooden drum and two sticks and just went from there. I went to about 400 raves in the 90's and now I have tinnitus. I love music, and I play and write whatever I want, but mostly hard dark drum and bass (cut with some industrial techno and sprinkled with a little funk) because I'm usually pissed off and it makes me feel better. I love tearing dance floors apart and ripping tunes. Hit me up and I'll play anywhere. Also, all producers need to send me good music, and if you do make sure it has plenty of sub-bass, okay?
