Hailing from the Pacific Northwest and now based in Brooklyn, the promoter and resident of Portland’s Switch Dance Party, Will Jack, has been hard at work establishing themself in the queer dance scene. Will Jack has spent the last couple of years behind the scenes of DIY parties as a producer and floor manager all the while promoting nights of their own, studying the craft and honing their skills and philosophy of the rave. As a DJ, Will Jack plays for the time and space delivering multidimensional techno sets as consistently as they do a hot and cruisy house groove. Seen behind the decks in places such as Portland’s Holocene, NY’s Bossa Nova Civic Club, the Chernobyl Warehouse, as well as Brooklyn’s UNTER party and San Francisco’s STANK, Will Jack is a force to keep an eye on with a story to be told.

Being raw and pure is core to my artistic style, so while I strive for quality and perfection, there are moments when I’m imperfect and work to do better. I’m a believer that the moment is always as intended, and while it’s riddled with suffering, it’s when I go against the grain of that suffering that I experience my most meaningful moments of growth. Being a human is messy and hard and because of that, many of us forget how lucky we are. Too many of us are literally fighting to survive. So with this mix, with the holidays, with the violence in Gaza, I hope to share some light, some groove, some horniness, some imperfection, some compassion and an opportunity to do better.
