DJ Okouru (https://soundcloud.com/okouru) throws us a deep, heavy hitting mixtape keeping up with our mix series for 2022. One would describe him as a multi-faceted artist:- DJ, Photographer, Stylist, Creative Director and 1/3 mastermind behind the newly promising CLUB SODA party in Copenhagen. 

It was his six part 'cassette series' that initially caught our ears (links below). For @spacedust-4 however, Okouru steers us into this mad bumping low tempo territory featuring a fanciful record selection and juxtaposition of styles highlighting 80’s/90’s U.K street soul, Chanson Francaise, Brazilian Hip Hop, French Boogie, Thai Synth Pop, Roots Reggae, with surprise Banghra drops. 

He certainly teases the illusion of kicking back on a gorgeous tropical beach without a care in the world. Just what we need rn.
