Drop Therapy

This is a new version of the Pacific Deep track "Enough is Enough". We originally uploaded it about 7 months ago. Patrick Fridh of Bitley suggested we make some changes to the track to make it more exciting. So we had a go! We did the following:

1. Increased BPM from 125 to 132
2. Changed key from C minor to E minor
3. Added a more energetic bassline, and some additional synthesizer and drum parts.

I didn't rerecord any of the vocals. I did all the pitch editing and time-stretching directly in Reason.

I think it turned out pretty well!

Enough Is Enough Version 2.0

Silje finds safety at Benedikt's farm, but soon discovers the truth about Niels Stierne. He was not Niels at all, but the murderer Heming, known as the Bailiff-killer. Silje feels betrayed, believing she had helped rescue an innocent, important man, only to find she had saved a killer instead.

She also learns the truth about her protector, Tengel. He belongs to a dangerous kin called the People of the Ice, and he shares the same name as his infamous ancestor.

The legend says:
"Once, many centuries ago, Tengel the Evil ventured into the wilderness and sold his soul to the devil. He became the forefather of the Icepeople. For wealth and power, one of his descendants in every generation would be cursed to serve the devil and commit evil deeds. Their distinguishing feature would be yellow cat-like eyes, and they would possess magical powers. It is said the curse will remain until the urn containing the potion Tengel the Evil used to summon the devil is unearthed. According to the legend, one day a descendant will be born, gifted with the knowledge and wisdom needed to end the curse. But no one knows if the legend is true."

Despite the revelations, Silje does not fear Tengel. He is kind to her and ensures her well-being. He often visits her, noticing how she grows into a skilled church painter and a compassionate, warm-hearted young woman.

Tengel and his niece Sol are safe from the outside world. Neither of them can hide that they are from the Icepeople, and both risk being executed for witchcraft. And they are actually both magicians, but Tengel has long ago made the decision to use only its powers for good causes, such as curing diseases. Sol, on the other hand, has a completely different morality. When they are driven from Valley of the Icepeople, there are many years of incidents and pure luck that keeps them safe. When they also find Dags mother, Charlotte Meiden, a wealthy duchess. They are provided with a small house and Tengel slowly starts to rebuild his reputation as a healer and not a Witcher.
