Hi, I am Jon, my music name is ©Crackerjack. Having re-read my own bio, which I haven’t done for some time, I realised how self-important it sounded!! I wish I was  a dynamic lead, rhythm, and bass guitarist whose sound is deeply rooted in blues-infused hard rock. 

The latter of this sentence is at least true in terms of styles – although I do also love metal and power sludge (Pantera), some classical, blues, Jazz/funk, Gangsta Rap.  I also do play lead, rhythm and bass, write, arrange and perform all the music and vocals. 

The drums are programmed on my Boss BR80 Micro Digital recorder; however I am planning on teaching myself how to play these. I also mix down and produce all my music.

My music era growing up was late 80s- mid/late 90’s.  Huge influences for me were early GNR, especially Slash, who is the reason I fell in love with the Les Paul and playing lead; Chris Cornell, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Black Crows, ACDC, STP, Faith No More, Gary Moore, ZZ Top – the list goes on, and all over the place!

Whilst I am a hard rock guy, I do venture into more metal as some of my tracks like The Gringo, Corrupt, Insidious, The Nomad may showcase. I also have 3 or so songs written which will be folk/country, my softer side, but need to buy a new acoustic before I record these.

I have released probably 60 singles and 5 track EP called Life Stories, which is what it says on the tin. 

The songs cover addiction - Husk' to ballads  'A Love Untold’ and a cheeky little interlude of the Sabbath variety with my good mate Somewhere 77’ supplying the bongo beat.
