For our 14th release we are honored to have on board @roman-fluegel , a master and real pioneer of the scene. The track he chose to edit dates back to the fabulous ‘80s, and the idea was born when our hero closed a four-hour set with the original, leaving everyone speechless, including us. “Ooh to be ah” by Kajagoogoo is a critic to frivolity, a game and a challenge at the same time. And this reinterpretation, thanks to our artist’s trademark electronic sounds, will captivate you from the first listen.

Black Pomade is a DJ and producer originally from Milan (Italy), now calling New York home after leaving his mark in Lisbon's growing scene. He’s the mastermind behind the Ruínas collective and the Whoopee party series.

Heavily inspired by the NY Disco scene and the Chicago House pioneers, he's made a name for himself with a melting pot of analog synths, groovy basslines, and syncopated beats. His sets are a proper journey through House, Disco, and Acid records, always leaving the dance floor buzzing with energy and big grins all around.

I’m currently traveling in Amman, where I’ll be playing at Hobtape x Plastik. So, there’s no spoken intro for this month’s episode. Still, I wanted to share this episode with you right away. It was a spontaneous recording I made while on the move.The mix blends some of my favorite darker tracks with melodic ones. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Frag Maddin has released EPs and remixes on some of the most respected labels in contemporary house and techno, including DVS1’s Mistress Recordings, Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records, 2000 and One’s Area Remote, George Morel’s Groove On, Waze & Odyssey’s W&O Street Tracks, Kevin McKay’s Glasgow Underground and Riva Starr’s Snatch! Records, among many others. His productions are characterised by a deep respect for the genre’s roots, combined with a modern, emotionally nuanced and often hypnotic approach to rhythm and groove.

For Frag Maddin, true art does not exist solely in the finished piece. It is born in the fleeting, almost intangible moment in which the artist becomes fully surrendered to a creative impulse - a state that draws him back to his personal Nullpunkt. In this space, ideas flow freely, where intuition and emotion merge and thought dissolves into instinct. It is here that the authentic essence of creation emerges: unfiltered, honest and raw.

When the artist succeeds in holding onto this Nullpunkt as a point of reference throughout the creative process, the final work transforms into something more than a track or a tool for the dance floor. It becomes a homage to that moment of pure presence - a sonic imprint of a state of being. This philosophy is at the heart of Frag Maddin’s artistic identity and flows through every release, every performance and every moment spent behind the machines.

Joyce Muniz - Calm Before The Storm Teaser 2020 Vision

After last year's lauded 3-track EP "TOPINAMBUR" we're more than happy to announce @robag_fm's return to SPEICHER. On the A-side, Robag delivers a deep hypnotic chugger that goes by the simple but ultimately affirmative name "YES". In all its simplicity, it's one of those tracks that gently tosses you down the famous rabbit hole. The flip side "CALMA CALMA" is pure summer festival bliss, resurrecting the spine-tingling a cappella from C'Hantal's proto techno classic "The Realm" for the 2020's. Both tracks are 100% Robag... highly emotive, über sexy and yet somehow hazardous.

Few artists embody the metaphor of life as a journey quite like Joyce Muniz. Born in Brazil and raised in Vienna, the DJ, producer, vocalist, and radio host now splits her time between Vienna — where she runs her studio and hosts a show on FM4 — and Berlin. She first made her mark at Vienna’s legendary Flex club as a DJ and MC before moving fully into production, releasing on leading labels including Exploited, Get Physical, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation, International DJ Gigolo, and Pets Recordings. Joyce also spent five years as a radio resident on Rinse FM UK, further cementing her presence across Europe’s electronic landscape.
Joyce’s creative world has expanded significantly in recent years. She became the first woman to join Germany’s Synth Live orchestral project, taking her hybrid electronic–orchestral show across the country. Her 2023 album Zeitkapsel (“time capsule”) represented a major artistic leap and the launch of her own imprint, Joyce Muniz Music. The record revisited the sounds that shaped her — from trip-hop and downtempo to drum & bass, house, and electro — with highlights such as the Portuguese-spoken anthem “Arrivederci Bella.”
A deep spiritual and artistic transformation also fuels her work. After overcoming cancer in her early 30s, Joyce returned to her Brazilian roots through plant-medicine traditions linked to her grandfather’s shamanism — a rebirth that continues to guide her creativity and purpose. During the pandemic she honed her technical craft, became a sought-after workshop host for Native Instruments, and completed a Bachelor’s degree in radio presenting.
Her momentum has only accelerated. In 2024 she released “No Haters” with Renato Cohen on Permanent Vacation, followed by her breakout Kompakt debut “Beats & Lines” with Sara Bluma — a track that held the No.1 position on Beatport’s Indie Dance Chart for several weeks. In 2025 she returned with the Afro-electro single “Mo Dupe” on Exploited, a lo-fi Yoruba-inspired homage to gratitude, and the powerful Kompakt release “Hack The System” featuring Futuradora, blending electro energy with sharp socio-political commentary.
Equally dedicated to the community, Joyce serves as a mentor and A&R guide for Lady of the House Brazil, supporting women and non-binary producers in electronic music. On the road, she tours nonstop across Europe, the Americas, and Brazil — where her achievements earned her a Mixmag cover feature.
Joyce Muniz is an artist in constant evolution: a boundary-breaking producer, a magnetic DJ, a cultural connector, and a storyteller guided by rhythm, identity, and spirit. With new releases and collaborations ahead, her journey — already spanning continents, styles, and generations — is only just beginning
