With environments—both physical and virtual—themed in connection, play, and alternative possibilities, Lindsey Bailey’s work allows for the viewer to interact with props and imagery that evoke questions around identity, cultural inclusion, and globalization. Her work has appeared in numerous exhibitions around the world. She currently teaches art in Nantong, China. Go. Make. Fun.

Igloo Magazine is an electronic music e’zine publishing articles about current, classic and upcoming music from around the globe. Our mission is to introduce readers to the burgeoning undergrowth of electronic musicians by covering a wide range of genre’s including ambient, experimental, dub, dubstep, shoegaze, electro, techno, drone, IDM, industrial, post-industrial, and all the debris in between. Pulling together a vast tapestry of like-minded contributors, the virtual Igloo doors officially opened December of 2000. We consistently seek to provide coverage for musicians creating left-of-center music that is not necessarily covered in general music media. Millipede has been in operation for a number of years and, in that time, has been subtly stretching the boundaries of the soundscapes its music has come to include. While so many electronic artists spend the lion's share of their time amping up the listener's heartbeat using effects and tricks akin to modern horror film jump tactics, Millipede's sound is considerably more graceful by comparison. It's patient in its fluidity and timing, able to take the listener on a journey where actual beginnings, climaxes, and endings are able to be traced. All the while, Millipede keeps things exciting by weaving ear candy that sounds at once harsh, but fascinating.
