잠 못 이루던 그날 밤, 네가 찾던 자장가를
아무 말 없이 group chat 속에 흘려보냈어.
설날엔 멀리서라도 네가 혼자일까 봐
서툰 한국어로 “새해 복 많이 받으세요”라고 전했고,
작은 선물에 “오늘은 꼭 잘 먹어”라고 적었어.
내가 한 모든 게 어색하고 서툴렀을지라도,
그저 네가 괜찮길, 잘 지내길 바라는 마음뿐이었어.

This is a record of small moments you might never have noticed.
That night you couldn’t sleep, searching for a lullaby —
I quietly sent you my own version into a group chat without a word.
When Lunar New Year came, I worried you might be alone,
so in clumsy Korean I wished you “Happy New Year”

Maybe everything I did was awkward and imperfect,

그래서 붙잡지 않았어.

언젠가, 다른 누군가를 사랑하게 될지라도
