'I know I can't change the past But I can begin again' is a great line with which to underpin this moving on relationship song. I agree with Nik about the modulation and will add that you sing this with real feeling.

I would definitely like to listen to this song sitting by myself in a dimly-lit nightclub, sipping Irish Creme (comfort food in liquid form)
