This time on the playground we welcome Konifer, Seattle/LA based Dj inspired by landscapes and movement. He began experimenting with electronic music to connect with humid narratives and interpret the world around him. This includes collecting field recordings from exploratory outings, most importantly in the Brazilian Amazon. In 2019, Konifer and longtime collaborator Kinjo launched Rhizome record label, platform for releasing both vinyl and digital music.

Makes Me Human debuted in 2017 and has consistently brought us extraordinary artists from around the world. Alongside partner record label Rhizome Records, they have been trailblazing in the Seattle underground setting the highest standards in releases, sets and parties. From their releases to their popular party series, there is no doubt that Kinjo and Konifer of MMH and Rhizome bring an exceptional minimal electronic music selection.

"Across the expanse of time existed a place so rich in amphibious lifeforms that it continued to challenge and mystify its invaders well into the surrounding planetary transformation. An order of diviners had predicted this place would shapeshift, changing its identity and turning on those who continued to shelter in its dense core. However, that never happened. Even as the invaders seeked to halt, divert, and capture the place's energy arteries and flows, its integrity held, buoyed by the impossible fecundity of unruly life itself. The place's offspring penetrated the minds and paralyzed the bodies of the invaders themselves who realized that their brutal fetishes and charms would inevitably decompose. As that suffocating superstructure fell, its limbs were swallowed, becoming one with the very place it had sought to dismember and destroy."
