Well, this started out as a request but it turned quickly into self satisfaction.  All I’ve done is read romance webtoons over holiday vacation (a lot of Pixel of Life) and I think it ended up affecting the lyrics I wrote. Especially after I found peony’s PV for a CeVIO cover, I couldn’t help but get caught up in the emotions of it. Which is funny because I initially didn’t really care for this song too much, in fact, I liked Paper Flower better on Kenshi’s album. But now I’m attached to Lemon as well thanks to all the webtoons I read while working on this. 

I wish I could’ve done better but ah well, it be like that sometimes. Plus, there are already so many great covers of this, I don’t think you guys are really clamoring for another lol. You should really hear Chalili’s and Mafumafu’s for sure!

Ya’ll I did so much the past 4 weeks I can barely remember it all. I worked staff at ECCC in Seattle and had to learn how to be good with kids (still don’t know how). Then flew to Japan and stayed in Tokyo for 2 weeks where I got to see a bunch of stuff like an anime convention at Tokyo Big Sight, a random Vocaloid pop up shop in Ginza, and One Piece at Tokyo Tower ofc. Then flew to Hawaii for Kawaii Con where I got to meet a bunch of really welcoming supporters, even received some stuff from them! And a lot in between all that but you guys get the gist, I’ve been busy. 

Really wanted to post this while I was away, but I never got any down time. Now I’m finally home again and doing what I’m most comfortable doing— working! ….yeah I know, I’ll fix my life soon but for now here’s a cover of a banger.

I have a growing collection of nekobolo covers. Should I be concerned?

This year has been harsh, probably the worst year of my life so far.
Admittedly, trying to just make it through each hour gets exhausting.
It's kind of amazing how life can continue on despite it all though.
I hope I can look back on this time someday and be glad I pushed on.

I’m so glad I finally got to cover this song. I’ve never gotten the chance to cover Kamiyama/ewe/Yukisan’s vocaloid songs before, but this one seemed like one I could do. Plus, there’s something so hypnotising about the beat and the video art, I couldn’t ignore it. I’m glad to see them growing so much as an artist, I can’t wait to see what else they make in the future. Also, I apologize for the slowness of covers the past couple of months. I’ve been going through some tough stuff personally and medically and trying to work it out like an adult. Sometimes life slaps you with a problem and the you’re told the only solution is waiting it out. It seems unfair and unbearable, you might fear that it’ll never end. But learning how to withstand hell is a more valuable experience than being given the easy way out. At least that what I’m trying to believe.
