This song was recorded in 1978 at the Jolly Roger in Newport Beach, CA. Tony plays guitar, Art on Bass, and I played the tambourine and the cowbell. Of course, we all sang vocals. WHAT magical times these were. We just did not know it then. In fact, one of the craziest things we said in those days were, "at 40 years old we certainly won't be singing in bars anymore!"

This was a Michael Jackson song from 1970. Michael's voice was still very high and I could sing it as a girl singer. This is one of the first songs that Tony and I learned for our Jolly Roger gig in Costa Mesa, California. The very first night at our job, we only knew about 15 songs and had to play from 9pm - 1:30 am. I guess we repeated and hoped that the crowd had turned over! LOL

1972 when Tony and I first started out singing at the Jolly Roger in Costa Mesa. It was only Tony on guitar with lots of effects and me playing some percussion instruments. And of course, LOTS of Harmony Vocals that we did so well.

Judy started singing at age 13, in Phoenix, Arizona, accompanied by her father on piano. All the classic 1940’s songs such as:  Misty, Fly Me to the Moon, Girl from Ipanema and Almost Like Being in Love. 
In 1968, she moved to California and recorded a 45 record - “What” with H. B. Barnum/producer. Later in the 70’s it became a massive hit in England on the Northern Soul scene (#23 out of the top 500.) With this recording, she changed her name to JUDY STREET. 
From California, Judy traveled across America singing with a show band. "Society." Then staying in Southern California continued to sing and play drums with her own bands for the next 20 years. Some of the most requested songs were from: The Carpenter’s, Anne Murray, Linda Ronstadt, Rickie Lee Jones, Bette Midler & Bonnie Raitt.
1991, moved to Tennessee and in 1997 found out that the song "WHAT" was a massive hit in England. She Performed her hit in Blackpool (2012) & Skegness & Preston (2014) to her fans and was able to experience “WHAT” a legend she truly was there. 
In Nashville, she was a soloist with the Christ Church Choir for many years and recorded “There Is A God.” Currently, she enjoys singing songs at Retirement Centers in Tennessee, through Music For Seniors.
