As a dedicated and accomplished musician, Rohnie Tan, a versatile violinist and cellist has had a solid academic background in music. He completed his degree in Bachelor of Music (Hons) in Professional Music, Grade 8 (distinction) and Performing Certificate (ABRSM) in violin, and Grade 8 (ABRSM) in cello. Rohnie has been performing throughout the countries and represented Malaysia for many International Music Festival in Beijing (2006), Hong Kong (2008) and Singapore (2010). 

A regular performer in local music scene, he has performed with various artists such as Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin, Najwa Mahiaddin, Adira, Jaclyn Victor, Elvira Arul, Zee Avi, Siti Nurhaliza, Mila, Ana Raffali, Bunkface, Estranged, Yuna, Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau, Rynn Lin, Bell Foo, Danny Wan Elvis Presley impersonator from United States. His versatility of being able to play classical, pop, jazz and even rock music has made him one of the most sought after violinist in the local music scene. 

He also sessions for indie bands such as An Hoenst Mistake, Rendra Zawawi, Metaphor, Izzy Mohammad, Rasdan Harith. Apart from live performances, he does music arrangement and recording for album production, film scores, commercial advertisements too.
