Shambhala sets are ephemeral and fleeting but I like to try and upload them here so everyone can get a taste of  SMF Sunday morning at 7am in the LIVING ROOM. Most people have gone to sleep and the few stragglers that show up have either partied all night, or slept all night by accident and woken up dazed. I have a few die hard allies who make a point of attending these special times, and to them i give a true nod of deep appreciation. They get it. This is music to wind down to. It's music to drift to, to greet the sun, to stretch into a new day with endless possibility. I love making these mixes. 

As usual there's a multitude to thank but foremost, these mixes would not be possible without the relentless sifting done by Delvin Solkinson, whose appreciation for the chill beats is unmatched.  Sara and HOOLA, the stage directors of the LIVING ROOM have believed in me from day one and i love them to the end of time for giving me the chance to play each year, and doing all they do for the music community. As always the mix is mastered by Akhentek in the brand new ilum studios in the majestic rainforest of west coast BC. Big ups to Frogacudda for the controller. A special shoutout to Emma star, who is always front and center for my SMF set and stays to the end. She also snapped the picture on the cover. Don't want to forget DJ Ktel and Mostly Yoshi for being the sountechs who set me up and tear down long after they are ready for bed.

It was my pleasure to co-host this gathering in alignment with many cultures around the world to celebrate the ‘thinning of the veil’ and come together to honour the rich diversity of our community’s lineages through ceremony, dance and community connection. 

My intention with this journey was to inspire the dancers to move and release any residual ancestral trauma they may be carrying and to access the ancestral wisdom encoded in their DNA. Featuring music from all around the world, this set was an offering to celebrate and honour all of our ancestors during a deeply intentional, potent and healing evening.

Since creation the boys have become a regular feature of the Sydney & Canberra outdoor festival scene before broadening to Victoria to play Rainbow Serpent 2016, 17 & Queensland for Elements 17, 18, Mushroom Valley 18 & Happy Daze 18. Previously they’ve appeared at Wi3rd, Psyfari Festival 13,14,15, Dragon Dreaming 13,14,15,16,17,  Subsonic 16,   Regrowth 14,15, 17. Lucid Labyrinth 14,15,16,  Burning Seed 12, 13, 14, 15, Psyland 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,  Just Chillin 13, 14, 15, Soliton Drop 14,15, 16, Prawn To Be Wild 15, Tribal Rhythms 13, and Burner Solstice 13, 14, 15, 16, 17.
