In the time of 2014-2015, most of Tree Collaborations' artwork was forcibly removed from much of the internet in a series of unlistings, deletions, and similar acts collectively dubbed "The Forest Fire".

The directive of The Ashwood Project is to collect and preserve what scraps we can find originating from Tree Collaborations, so that others may still discover the wonders of this now passed organization for themselves. Or, so that fans of the group may see/hear their favorite pieces online.

"Tree Collaborations is a multimedia art collective out of San Francisco's Underground. A project built to push creation for the sake of tapping into the sacred side of things. This family of young artists creates everything from music to films, street art to animations, and a clothing line. Tree Collaborations is a multilayered creative movement."

The core of the Ashwood Project is a handful of fans that have been following Tree's works since they started in the early 2010s, and have been collecting pieces ever since. Though, membership is open to anyone who has recovered a piece of media from the Tree era, or simply supports our cause.

The Oceanographers is a musical project with the ongoing mission to bridge the gap between knowledge and faith. Two worlds that often seem at odds with each other are both so important right now. The Oceanographers is a call for people who value knowledge to be open to Christ, his miracles, the spiritual, and the unexplainable, and, a call for people who value faith to be open to caring for the earth and be advocates against destroying creation. As I’ve grown in my faith, I find it disheartening that many followers of Christ don’t value taking care of the earth... and as I’ve grown in my respect for knowledge, I find it very sad that people of science don’t see the overwhelming testimonies for the miracles God does in our lives. This project is meant to bridge this divide between these two viewpoints. If you feel called to this mission, you just might be an oceanographer, too.
