Patricia Martinez (1973, AR/ES) is an active composer, interdisciplinary artist and performer, working and multi-awarded internationally since 28 years. Her creative and research interests are focused on new music composition and interdisciplinary projects, specially contemporary music theatre, new opera, symphonic and chamber works, computer music, improvisation, choreography-composition and video art. She creates music as a multidimensional expression about the “impossible”: that something that magically shows up, but overflows any artistic language to interconnect them organically into a spiritual, immeasurable and poetical new music-staging dimension, addressing an unsettling examination about loss and suffering.

Her works received awards including: Recommendation Award, International Eisenacher Bach Composition Prize 2020 (DE); selected, First International Music Theatre Competition / Staatstheater Darmstadt / Internationales Musikinstitut Darmstadt (2015); Prizewinner, “12 Minutes for Moniuszko”-International Stanisław Moniuszko Composers’ Competition for a Micro-Opera (PL); 2nd Prize, International Composition Competition NEW NOTE 2019 (Cr); 2nd Prize, Musicworks' 2019 Electronic Music Composition Contest (CA);  2st Prize, American (US) and 2019/2015 Casa de las Méricas Prize (CU).

Patricia’s works has been performed at: Donaueschinger Musiktage; ACHT BRÜCKEN | Musik für Köln; Darmstadt Ferienkurse; Music Current; Colón Theatre; Mittersill Composers' Forum; NYEMF; MATA Festival, MISE-EN Music Festival; Festival Synthese; ISCM World Music Days; IRCAM Forum; Polish National Opera or Colón Theatre. 

Patricia is artistic director and founder of Compañía Helada of new opera. She is professor of composition at UNQ, CSMCBA and UNAM. She holds a Doctoral and a MA degree in Composition (Stanford University) and completed the Annual Course in Computer Music (IRCAM).

Ensemble für zeitgenössische Musik - contemporary music ensemble


Das Ensemble ö! wurde im Frühling 2002 als Nachfolge-Ensemble des bis dahin bestehenden Kammerensembles „musicuria“ von David Sontòn Caflisch gegründet.

Der Schwerpunkt des Solistenensembles mit der Besetzung von jedem Orchester-Instrument einzeln liegt bei der Aufführung Neuer und zeitgenössischer Musik. Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt dabei auf der Kammermusik und Sololiteratur, dabei tritt das Ensemble aber auch regelmässig in voller und sowie erweiterter Besetzung auf.

Pretty Mellow is a constant work in progress (... and has been in a coma for a long while, but this is so fun to do that we hope to get around to it again), an alternative art pop project consisting of Dagfinn Koch, Jon Ruder and Malin Kjelsrud, working in Oslo, Norway. The material published so far is old, but we are currently recording new songs! The published songs are to be considered unfinished demos. 

Dagfinn Koch is a well established norwegian modern classical composer within the field of chamber music, orchestral music, theatre music, opera, ballet and fine art installations. Dagfinn is also an arranger and engineer. 

Jon Ruder is a strong vocalist, songwriter and lyricist who has a broad musical background. 

Malin works in many genres; lyrics for pop, classical, opera, musicals etc., in addition to visual art, video art and musical experiments.
