Starting as a label that served basically as a platform for their friends’ music in 2010, Uncanny Valley evolved into a record label that assembles acclaimed artists from the electronic music scene not only from the label’s base in Dresden but also from Germany and beyond. With a strong emphasis on the records’ artwork the label heads Philipp Demankowski, Conrad Kaden and Carl-Johannes Schulze are constantly on a mission to establish and refine the artists from the roster as well as to search for new talents. Artists as Jacob Korn, Cuthead, Credit 00, Massimiliano Pagliara, CVBox or Panthera Krause all feel at home on the label, giving them the chance to develop projects that are not only music related but can also integrate different art forms. With the two offshoots Rat Life and shtum under its belt, Uncanny Valley does not stand still to explore the full spectrum of electronic and not so electronic music from House via Disco, Hip-Hop or Ambient through to Techno. A range that can also be depicted when the three label heads come together for a DJ set as Uncanny Valley DJs.

Paulo Goncalves is a Sydney based DJ and producer that goes by aliase: Pol dub 
Born and bred in Brazil, today Paulo resides in Australia. His journey as a DJ began in the early 2000’s playing and organising parties. Since then, he made his move to Australia in 2004 and has been playing his sounds and sharing his extensive musical collection at established clubs, parties and festivals around Australia as well as Bali, New Caledonia and of course Brazil. Just to name a few: SubClub, Sash, Breakfast Club, Circus, WeLove, Spectrum, By Your Side, Sly Fox as well as Subsonic Music Festival and Universo Paralello.
In his early days Paulo was part of the Significant Others Crew, that gained its reputation for their weekly party at the Burdekin Hotel. He then became involved with Sutra hosting monthly and weekly events and as of recently became the co-founder and promoter of Oomph, also hosting monthly and fortnightly parties around Sydney. Currently, Paulo is part of Velvet Kollektiv, a fresh collective in the Sydney scene hosting Friday nights at the Velvet Lounge located at the Beauchamp Hotel. 
Over the years Paulo has played alongside Nice 7, Andreas Henneberg, Jonas Saalbach, Dj W!ld, Troy Pierce, D-Nox, just to name a couple.
