"Now Is" kicks off LYVELIFE with musings on the power of perception; a song all about surrendering to the present moment, realizing it is all we really have.
The long-awaited follow-up to the JHP's debut is here! LYVELIFE sees a new collaborative direction to the instrumental jazz-funk underpinnings of Hartwell's core quintet, featuring a host of special guest vocalists and instrumentalists now in service to a grander vision. Five original songs delve into themes of perception, perspective, spirituality and personal growth - tackling what it might mean to live "LYVE" - and run the gamut of musical influences ranging from jazz, funk, soul, go-go, to hints at pop.

Conscious dance/hype track inspired by the work of Derrick Broze and John Bush and their organizing and promoting of The Greater Reset Activation (thegreaterreset.org),(theconsciousresistance.com), (freedomcells.org). Deep synth bass and layered guitars combine with plush synths, a solid dance beat, assorted live and sampled percussion, and vocal harmonies with a message of worldwide love, freedom and unity.
