Born and raised in west Berlin Michel Neigenfnd had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age. Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80's, he soon realized musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions when his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. The steadily growing success of the URSLRecords label which Madmotormiquel has been running together with Sebo and Soukie & Windish since 2010, has been a continuing reason for being booked way beyond the boundaries of Berlin. The next inspiring artist who will showcase his Far Blue perception for you, is Daniel van der Zwaag. Daniel is an artist who's mixes we have always admired, and his productions even more so. However, this mix is truly something special, since it consists mostly of tracks from Daniel's forthcoming album. His album will be released on the wonderful Oleeva label, and we are honored to be able to showcase these tracks through his Far Blue concept. Be sure to keep an eye out at @oleeva-records, but as for now; enjoy this 1 hour and 11 minutes long interpretation of Far Blue, compiled by Daniel van der Zwaag.

Dauw — literally ‘condensation of atmospheric moisture in the morning or evening’ — is a subtle nuance for the presence of this Belgian bred music lover with a deeply rooted passion for jazz and soul music. Not sticking to one particular style his sound can be described as minimal house music in all its deepest forms and tempo ranges. Warm melodies often go together with groovy, heavy bass lines creating a particular deep vibe that has energy enough to get the party started, to going way passed sunrise and every moment in between. Add some strong emotional flavour to his defined sense for rhythm and he’ll spark you up on a journey that makes your heart,
mind and feet wander over and over again.

Today exactly one month ago I had the pleasure to play at Bilbao BBK Live. My set was from 1 am to 3 am, Friday to Saturday night, at a stage called Lasai. The festival was in the mountains right next to Bilbao and from Lasai you had a beautiful view over a big part of the city, what created an amazing scene to play for. Everybody had to play at maximum 100 BPM at this stage. Since I hadn't done this in a while, at least not for a whole set, this was a good opportunity to once again get out of the ordinary and do something new. I'm really happy with the whole journey and thankful to have been given this opportunity to learn and grow and get to know so many beautiful people during my time in Spain!

So. We are leaving you to guess what the title of @pablo-bolivar’s mix, Música Para Estar, means, and are focusing on something else this time, namely, the days we are living now. On the one hand, the whole world is experiencing the same pain and anxiety, everyone is trying to help everyone else, realizing or rather feeling how much we are interdependent or connected to each other. On the other hand, though, these days are really, truly about us. How many seemingly important things have disappeared and how much time, really important and cherished time, we have in our possession, so we get to stay with ourselves. Whether we want it or not is of course a whole different story, but the thing is we can. We have more time on our hands, having tangled ourselves with a bunch of things we had invented to keep ourselves busy, and now they are gone, and we have remained alone with ourselves, and it’s probably the first time ever we’ll not only be helping others, but ourselves too, given that no such opportunity will be given to us ever again. We’ll be thinking about everything we have said in the past and what we do today and the promises of the future, about the people who were and are in our lives, those who should be but are not and those we’ll certainly meet but not for now. In fact, we can go on like this forever, and realize at some point that the title, this text, this music, us, our thoughts, future plans, the indelible past and the vague future, and pretty much everything we know are not about the same thing. Or it may turn out that they have nothing to do with each other, and we just want them to be like that.

Our last release, that was almost 4 months ago saw the first remix for Padre's "Golden Hour Trilogy" EP within Pablo Bolivar's Club Vision of "Roselight". We are tremendously delighted to have the man himself back at it again, delivering a patient and ambient mix, that almost inclusively features an array of music from his labels.
